WIDA ACCESS testing for multilingual learners will take place January 21st - February 13th. The schedule for testing is below:
January 21-22: Kindergarten
January 27-31: 1st, 2nd, 4th
February 3-7: Kindergarten, 3rd, 5th
February 10-13: Make-up Testing

There are several important reminders about the AES After School program

1. In order to schedule a 4K screening, all documents must be received at the CDC as soon as possible.
2. The first wave of 4K screening appointments will end May 16th  
3. The Summer screenings will be offered only at the CDC and will be during June and July.

Kindergarten (5K) enrollment is now open for the 2024-2025 school year.

Federal legislation requires that all students identified as Multilingual learners (MLs) are assessed annually to monitor their progress and proficiency in English. South Carolina uses the WIDA ACCESS test for this purpose. Please see the testing schedule.
