A Message from Mr. Seegars
A Letter from the Principal…
Dear Arcadia Family Members,
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year; we have missed you! We hope that you and your loved
ones are in good health and you have been able to feel some sense of normalcy in these trying
times. Our wonderful staff has been working this summer to get the campus ready for the arrival
of our students and to provide a safe and engaging learning environment. Although this
upcoming school year will be unique, and will require flexibility from all of us, we are confident
that our students will have a wonderful learning experience.
Arcadia is pleased to welcome new faculty members into the Gator family. The following
individuals have joined our team: Christi Kelly, second grade teacher, Paige Smith, resource
teacher, Naomi Watson, school psychologist, Kaiti Panepucci speech-language pathologist, and
Carolina Venegas, office staff. We look forward to working with our new members and thankful
to have their talents at Arcadia.
We are fortunate to have a dedicated support staff at Arcadia. This summer presented challenges
that required additional services and support. Our cafeteria and custodial staff worked hard
preparing and distributing meals and getting the school ready for a safe return. A BIG thank you
to these individuals for their tremendous effort!
At Arcadia, we are committed to the common goals of nurturing responsible, caring students and
providing a challenging, safe learning environment. We share this responsibility for your child’s
success, and we welcome and value your input as we work to make Arcadia a great place for all.
We are excited for the learning that will take place, the relationships we will build, and the
memories we will make.
Again, welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. We are grateful to have you as part of our learning
community and look forward to a successful new year.
Please do not hesitate to call me if I can be of service.
