At 3:30 am the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory that will remain in effect until 6 pm. Based on this new information and an assessment of current road conditions, District Six will be closed on February 7th. We understand this is not convenient for many parents but safety is always our top priority. The wind advisory warns of sustained winds of 15-25 mph and gusts of up to 45mph. We are concerned about the safe operation of our school buses as well as students and parents navigating around closed and damaged roads.
