District 6 is striking a blow against the #1 disease killer of children - CANCER- by hosting a district-wide Kidz in Lids event on Friday, March 4, 2022.
Every student who brings in just $1 can wear their favorite hat all day...every teacher and administrator who brings $5 can also join in to wear a hat!
Proceeds go to the Children's Cancer Partners of the Carolinas, who help families get their sick children to treatment.
With only three treatment centers in SC- Charleston, Columbia, Greenville- the travel alone overwhelms many families. Many need specialized care in New York or Houston or beyond.
