First grade families were invited to lunch with their students, and stayed to experience literacy stations. Students in the classrooms showed how they practice spelling words, reading to themselves and others, guided reading, and other stations. Before going into the classrooms, families also joined us fora presentation about healthy food choices and portion sizes.
