Second graders toured the District 6 Farm on May 2, 2018. Students used their senses to make observations about life on the farm and recorded them in their farm journal. They saw where our farm fresh vegetables are grown and learned how the irrigation system delivers not only water but also nutrients to the the plants! Students ran a worm relay, and then dug in the dirt to observe worms! The students enjoyed their time on the farm and hope to go back soon!
